taste-as-tension is A participatory culinary experience conceived by artist beverley duckworth and chef leslie james.
guests are invited into a multi-sensory ritual where living landscapes of edible seedlings & plants function as both sculpture and ingredient, complemented by a live responsive soundscape.
Guests harvest directly from the installation, and as the evening unfolds, appetite reshapes the environment in real time, revealing the invasive species not as plant or animal, but as human insatiability, heightened through an audio-spatial intervention.
By the final course, only soil remains.
