invasive species is a curatorial project that explores the dissonance between our inner and outer worlds.

CONCEIVED as an exhibition and a series of interventions that examine the subtle yet potent forces that seep into the psyche, invasive species looks at where the visceral & cerebral converge, diverge, and slip into tension with one another.

drawing on Surrealism, mysticism, the natural world, and the psycho-sensory, the project spans site-specific installation and performance, painting, sculpture, scent, sound, moving image, and gastronomy.

Emerging at a moment defined by disconnection and dissonance, invasive species does not offer resolution. Instead, it asks audiences to confront the invasive, and to consider where it is held, how it is processed, and the channels through which it moves through the self and beyond.
